Seedhi Baat, No Bakwaas..!

"No "Terrorist" should be caught alive and given the luxury a court trial for fair justice, instead they should be "shot dead" instantly as and when they are caught".The lines above remain a precise 'reflection' of a 'common man's' common sense. However this will amount to a most "atrocious disrespect" to our judiciary system. Politically speaking, we trust our "judiciary" because it believes in dragging a case to 'eternity', if that helps in delivering "justice".
"When ever there is is a terrorist attack,we immediately start pointing our fingers at our neighbouring countries, instead of "instantly" going into action by rounding up all big ,small and sundry politicians, putting them in a container and then throwing the 'container' into the Arabian sea". This may again sound the "voice" of a 'common man's' common sense. However 'constitutionally' speaking it will amount to infringement of "fundamental rights" of the 'politicians'. After all the "politicians" are our elected representatives under a system called "democracy".
Ajmal Kassab's latest statement to the court where he said and I quote..

"I have not killed the slain police officers Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar and Kamte. Also I was not present at the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus or the Cama Hospital- two places where I am alleged to have fired shots at the police and general public."
Now it will be nothing short of a "Sadistic behavior", if I further attempt to re-produce 'Kassab's' complete statement to the Court.
Anyways when I attempt to read about the "Kassab trial", it somehow reminds me of an 'ad film'...where there are 3 characters ,besides a dog called "Killer" and a 'carom board'.
Character(1) is seen pampering the "Killer", character(2)is seen walking away with a 'beautiful lady'(the character 3) for a game of carom board.? Now if I say that character(1)represents our 'security system', Character (2) our "politicians",Character (3)the "vote bank" and make 'Kassab' represent the dog "Killer" ,it definitely would sound funny...may be that's why I would prefer to call this" height of a common man's common sense or would you better prefer to say "Seedhi Baat, No Bakwaas"..!

MY MODISTORY

I am one among 900  million plus    "nuts and bolts" of our  Democracy , who   become "faceless" faces in the crowd after  every 5 years.  Year 2014 election was in every sense historic It was beyond doubt a landslide victory for BJP and the beginning of  the so called "MODI" Raj  In year 2014 my reason and my josh for  casting my vote for  BJP was "Modi". His speeches were "sparkling confidence" that set ablaze the confidence of  the nation that was trying to rise up from the cesspool of corruption   Looking back now after 11 years I realise that year 2014 was also  the beginning of era called   "Political Branding" that would  covert  a "politician" into a larger than life  "Mega Leader" Perhaps that is the reason that today in politics "anti-incumbency" does not matter at all . Here are  in brief  a Common man's  bunch of thoughts on "Modi Story". These ...

CLARITY IN CHAOS

The Bhagavad Gita is a living scripture  universally relevant  today as it was 5000 years ago in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. It is a divine conversation that took place in the battlefield of Kurukshetra  between two best  friends, Lord Krishna the Charioteer and Arjuna the warrior.  'Bhagavad Gita' is an integral part of of Indian mythology  I have always believed mythology is not for everyone including me.  So when my friend, the author of the book  "Understanding Bhagavad Gita", gave me a  copy to review , I was not very comfortable.  I like  'Arjuna'  started looking for excuses . However one day not very soon , "The Recipe For A Better Life " the part of the title  hooked me into reading it The author has covered the essence of 'Gita' inside the  160 pages, through   eighteen Chapters.  Every chapter has an "Introduction", a "Summary" and a "Reflection" The simplicity of his writing gives...
