No rules, just write !

It will sound perfectly stupid if I said it was President "George W. Bush" who got me into blogging. Had it not been his remark way back in year 2008 about the “classified Indian middle class”……probably today the "score card" of my posts may not have touched two short of 60 as the year 2009 came to a close on 'Thursday' last. I never plan my post. I just write them and remain comfortable about my presence in the 'virtual world'. I am happy every time when some one familiar stumbles into my blog. I am thrilled when occasionally some one becomes generous enough to leave a 'comment' on my post. Most of my learning always comes from these comments. Honestly at the end of the day I sincerely remain thankful to every one who either stumbled into my blog or visited it once in a while to check the updates. My posts in 2008 and 2009 was everything from sweet nothings, to every day challenges of "Aam Aadmi" and from political rubbish to glob

after all "Life" remains beautiful..!

As the last day of the first decade of the millennium comes to an end,I have no wish to re-visit and re-live all the pains and goriest human tragedies and suffering that was visible through the years 2001 to 2009.No doubt with Global financial crisis adding to these human sufferings, the decade perfectly qualified to be called a decade of trauma. The value of human life may have become shockingly cheep, yet our hope and aspiration to not only survive but also to progress as better human being continues to remain pulsating within us.I am sure we have not done yet with life. The decade that we are just about to pass over, did make us realize that human tragedies and sufferings remain equally painful and terrifying to all without any geographical divide. Let us energies our will and remain positive to wake up to a new beginning...as the clock strikes 12 this mid night.......after all this life remains beautiful and we know how precious it is to us and as well to our near and dears. Let

"who is baiting who"..?

"Water" is 'elixir' of life. You need oxygen to breath. So you can't live without water and oxygen. These are established scientific facts which no one can either dispute nor dodge. However when you are 'dead' how does it matter to you if it was due to water contamination or breathlessness.... 'Philosophy' is fine to talk about but not enough to 'live' your life as it last. If you scratch your gray cell to find out the core reasons for crimes, corruptions and "Aam Aadmi" ka cribs..you will definitely find "Money" a motivating factor. The best thing is that you don't have to become a "Sherlock" for this 'fact' finding mission. Be it an "Ambani", or a "Madhu Koda", be it an honorable high court "Judge" or a political "stalwart" one thing that keeps all of them united is "Money". However the 'ratio proportioning' and 'rounding off' f

All's Well..!

There are hardly any more days' for year 2009 to go "back stage" and become the part of the history book. Will it be right..? if I don't look back at the gone by months. Will it be wise of me.? if I invest my "time now" looking forward for a great year ahead. Well every year we do pose these questions. However they pass away as months role out and the year comes to an end. "Economic Slowdown" and 'recession' remained the buzz word in the corporate corridors. The year saw me getting 'self motivated' through all those corporate 'mantras' that said "make economic slowdown as an opportunity to growth". However it took me almost the entire of the '12' months to realize that.. what is good for corporate may not be good for individuals. It also proved that corporate is after all not about people. It is more about "bottom lines". Here is my take from year 2009... The year helped me to learn that you do

Seedhi Baat, No Bakwaas..!

"No "Terrorist" should be caught alive and given the luxury a court trial for fair justice, instead they should be "shot dead" instantly as and when they are caught".The lines above remain a precise 'reflection' of a 'common man's' common sense. However this will amount to a most "atrocious disrespect" to our judiciary system. Politically speaking, we trust our "judiciary" because it believes in dragging a case to 'eternity', if that helps in delivering "justice". "When ever there is is a terrorist attack,we immediately start pointing our fingers at our neighbouring countries, instead of "instantly" going into action by rounding up all big ,small and sundry politicians, putting them in a container and then throwing the 'container' into the Arabian sea". This may again sound the "voice" of a 'common man's' common sense. However 'constitutiona

No scream for "ice cream"

This 'post' is my reaction to today's "htCity" news item.."American ice cream brand gets into "racist" trouble at the launch of their first outlet in India"... I am sure many of us still may not have made it to the shores of America. However for most of us 'America' continues to be a 'vision' statement and a reference of 'America' invariably finds a slot both in our short and long term goals. However does all this "America" fixation make us little less Indian and little more American may always remain a debatable. However I can cross my heart as an "Aaam Aadmi" and say whatever fascination I may have for that country across the Atlantic,my mind and my soul will always remain on the shores of Ganges and in the country that I will ever remain pride to call my "India".If I am putting up with their silly antics now and then in my own country,it only proves that I am ignoring their "Envy&qu

Ecnomics of "understanding"!

Decades in time as a student of "Economics" I was forced to mug up chapters from 'Paul Samuelson's' book "Economics An Introductory Analysis". I wish I had then made effort to 'grasp' those chapters instead of 'mugging' them up. May be this is the reason why today I find my knowledge of "Economics" so undernourished. Even today I remain 'utterly bitterly' confused of a factor called "GDP" Now again for instance if the 'GDP' of this country is on the rise, does it mean that the government's huge spending on 'Aam Aadmi's' welfare is being reflected significantly in improved condition of the 'Aam Aadmi'?. Does a 6.7% growth in country's 'GDP' remain unrelated to 'Aam Aadmi's' 'wait' at the water tap, every morning hoping that someday the "elixir of life" will trickle from it. Does the rise of country's 'GDP' no 'relevance'
