Not become a cause for Candle Light..

You can't deny this fact that the  attitude of the Prime Minister of a Nation is nothing but the reflection of the Nation itself.  Our PM's  silence on everything including life threatening situations of the citizens  are  nothing for us to be ashamed of because that's the way we  too are! If Rajiv Gandhi was nick named "Chalta Hai" it jolly well also portrays our image as a nation and as citizens of this great MY INDIA From Nehru to Rajiv Gandhi and to Manmohan Singh there has been no much tilt on our National attitude.

Through the years the flow of our  great Rivers have stagnated into clogged up  drains. Our rich heritage and our culture of co-existence have over the years taken heavy beatings. We keep mending our minds through the process of pilgrimage to temples, shrines and holly dips in Ganges, yet our  mind continuous to remain  mentally chocked and perverted. We say we can't see others suffering, yet  we continue our cruelty to animals.

In spite of clicking  'likes' to our sense of patriotism we continue to plunder and pull down the national wealth and vandalize the public property. We boast and take pride of our national Family Tree that gave us stalwarts heroes from Bhagat Singh to Mahatma Gandhi and from Subash Chander Bose to Sardar Patel, yet we continue to remain compromised to political and social vandalism.

We say India is our Mother land however it is the  roads and the streets of this very land that are turning  most  unsafe for women .  We are  willing to take up candle light processions for rape victims but never for once we make  attempts to prevent Rape. In short  we never attempt to be humane  in spite of  we being human

The clock is ticking away and we are now just  some minutes away from New Year. As the curtains come down on 2012 , my only prayer to the All Mighty is to give us all the strength and courage to make the roads, streets and colonies of our nation safe for women. Beginning 2013 let us look forward that every woman in this country are looked upon as strength of this great Nation  and not become  cause for candle Light....HAPPY NEW YEAR....

MY MODISTORY

I am one among 900  million plus    "nuts and bolts" of our  Democracy , who   become "faceless" faces in the crowd after  every 5 years.  Year 2014 election was in every sense historic It was beyond doubt a landslide victory for BJP and the beginning of  the so called "MODI" Raj  In year 2014 my reason and my josh for  casting my vote for  BJP was "Modi". His speeches were "sparkling confidence" that set ablaze the confidence of  the nation that was trying to rise up from the cesspool of corruption   Looking back now after 11 years I realise that year 2014 was also  the beginning of era called   "Political Branding" that would  covert  a "politician" into a larger than life  "Mega Leader" Perhaps that is the reason that today in politics "anti-incumbency" does not matter at all . Here are  in brief  a Common man's  bunch of thoughts on "Modi Story". These ...

CLARITY IN CHAOS

The Bhagavad Gita is a living scripture  universally relevant  today as it was 5000 years ago in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. It is a divine conversation that took place in the battlefield of Kurukshetra  between two best  friends, Lord Krishna the Charioteer and Arjuna the warrior.  'Bhagavad Gita' is an integral part of of Indian mythology  I have always believed mythology is not for everyone including me.  So when my friend, the author of the book  "Understanding Bhagavad Gita", gave me a  copy to review , I was not very comfortable.  I like  'Arjuna'  started looking for excuses . However one day not very soon , "The Recipe For A Better Life " the part of the title  hooked me into reading it The author has covered the essence of 'Gita' inside the  160 pages, through   eighteen Chapters.  Every chapter has an "Introduction", a "Summary" and a "Reflection" The simplicity of his writing gives...
