MY Almighty..

Whatever happens to us in life,we attribute it to our destiny and our karma. That's the way we connect self to GOD. This is one of the the realization we gain from our knowledge of life and living. However this knowledge alone is not enough to keep us afloat, awake and aware in this flat world of knowledge.

I am not a book worm. I have never gained the patience of sitting through the hard bound and paperbacks. The only time I flick through magazines is when I am waiting for my turn at the barber shop. However with receding hair growth,my visit to barber shop has almost become a vanishing act,yet I take pride to be counted as part of the knowledgeable crowd.

I have never read about 'Niccolo Machiavelli' the father of Politics of modern times, yet I know that politicians are the only social animals who pretend conscience without having one...

I have never read Charles Darwin's "The Origin of Species" still I have knowledge enough in my command to prove that Darwin's theory of evolution was one of the worst made mistakes of Science...

I have never heard of "Richard Holbrooke", the 'giant of US foreign policy',but that does not stop me from understanding all about America's $ diplomacy and their 'pat down' & 'holding room' antics at airports...

I have not studied communication, yet I can talk at length about the spectrum and their generations that have of late gained momentum enough to make our parliament to come to a'stand still' for days on end and thus letting the tax payers money go down the drains...

I never had even a single privilege all my life to be on the receiving side of 'corruption' still I can talk in detail about money laundering and all about operating accounts in "Swiss Banks"..

I may not be a man with earth size knowledge to go on and on. However I surely can search the earth and pin point any location across any part of the Globe. However since I never enjoy any brand "I" campaign...I will stop here...

You see key to my knowledge about everything s, anything s and something s,is my zest to keep googling and loosing myself in the virtual world hours in end searching and finding anything and everything under the SUN,MOON and beneath the SEA & OCEAN.....

The credit for keeping my thought engine fine tuned in assimilating and disseminating knowledge goes to one and only search engine called "GOOGLE"....and I call it "MY Almighty"...

But 'PAPU' Can "Vote"...'Sala'..!

"Sala".. is a generally accepted slang for both 'hum' the "Hindustani" and 'tum' the "Indian". Together this "HUM TUM" make the "Aam Admi"of the world's largest 'democracy'. This is our "INDIA".I agree with the TV ad that almost says "My India Strongest" in spite of the "Everest" of issues that surround her. Normally in this country the fate of the 'ordinary' people ie 'Aam Admi' always remain woefully harassed, pushed and frustrated through the year. However at the close every 5 years this 'Aam Admi' suddenly become extraordinarily powerful and remain wooed by all 'big, small and sundry' political parties of the country. Yes it is time for General Election. In the coming months for the 15th Lok Sabha, 714 million eligible voters would be 'bee lining' to the ballot boxes across 29 states,6 union territories to elect 543 members . 'Jaago-...

In conversation with Bapu....

With 'Sare Jahan Se Achcha' and 'Abide with Me'the Soul-stirring martial tunes and solemn drum beats at the majestic Raisina Hills the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony marked the conclusion of the week long ceremonial functions of India celebrating her 62nd year of Republic. As the illumination lit up the edifices of Imperial India..my thought reached out to that day into the history of independence that finally dropped the curtain on a life called "Gandhi"...the man whose experiment with truth may not have jelled with today but his name has truly become the brand that remain most misused & manipulated both in trade & politics. As I key-in these lines I can read out the conversation that would have transpired between the "soul of Nation" (SON) and "Mahatma Gandhi"(Bapu)....Read on what I read..... SON: Bapu it's me,are you sleeping....? BAPU: How can you ask that...don't you know this day in the year 1948..I was gu...

My expiriment with "TRUTH"..

It was today but the year was 1981 and the day was probably a Saturday. I was there on the ceremonial stretch of "Raj path".There were about 4 lac people like me "all excited", getting ready for the "action shot" for Richard Atendbrough's film "GANDHI". The scene was Gandhiji's "funeral procession".I was wearing white khadi "Pajama & Kurta" which I bought from Khadi gram udyog at 'Regal building the previous evening. This was the recommended "dress code" for the shoot. Probably I never thought then that I was about to be part of a "live action crowd" of this magnitude that will never again be filmed. Soon the heavy camera's parked on the cranes started rolling. I lost the count of how many times those giant like cameras zoomed in and zoomed out of me. I was simply emotionally charged walking the stretch shouting "Vande Matram","Mahatma Gandhi" "AmarRahe"...
