It's my "Common Sense" after all..!

Being an "Aam Aadmi" it will always remain a "common sense" for me to keep promoting "communal harmony" in order to reduce as well avoid any communal disturbance in my immediate neighbour hood. Also it will make a "common sense" for me to work towards "religious tolerance" within the community that I live in, to prevent flare-ups of "religious sentiments. Again it will make a lot of "common sense" for me to devote "quality time" for removing 'cast bias' among the members of the society, so that I don't get tensed up when any member in my family decides to marry outside the 'cast'. It will again be my "common sense" that I muster support from the members of the society to fight against any kind of 'discrimination' based on cast, gender and religion, so that as a "society" we are able to keep alive both in "letter & spirit" the basic values of "democracy", as well prevent making our "right" to 'vote' a public "mockery"...

Now if 'tomorrow' my aspirations to become a "politician" grows wing, I will definitely need to work for 'communal' disharmony, 'religious' intolerance, 'cast divide' and also promote a 'cause' for 'inequality' on the basis of cast, creed & gender. You see the more I succeed in all these, the more I become a "familiar face" in the "crowd". Incidentally in politics "familiarity" does not breed 'contempt', instead it will "speed up" my 'power growth' and enhance my "political stature". The simple "Gandhi Cap" on my head will become much more stronger than the "diamond" 'studded' crowns, that the "idols" wear in the temples...

Eventually as I politically grow up to become a "political power", I don't have to shout like "Mohammad Ali" and say "I am the greatest".You see when I am able to politically manipulate and become "Masiha" of the "Dalits" no "political power" worth their salt will be able to stop me from playing "GOD" and plundering the wealth & economy of the country. No "political oppositions" can prevent me from eating into the fabrics of the very "democracy. Naturally therefore even for the so called "Long Arms" of the "LAW" I will ever remain an "untouchable" because I know in this country "Law" is an "ASS" and that you see is my "common sense" after all...!

In conversation with Bapu....

With 'Sare Jahan Se Achcha' and 'Abide with Me'the Soul-stirring martial tunes and solemn drum beats at the majestic Raisina Hills the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony marked the conclusion of the week long ceremonial functions of India celebrating her 62nd year of Republic. As the illumination lit up the edifices of Imperial India..my thought reached out to that day into the history of independence that finally dropped the curtain on a life called "Gandhi"...the man whose experiment with truth may not have jelled with today but his name has truly become the brand that remain most misused & manipulated both in trade & politics. As I key-in these lines I can read out the conversation that would have transpired between the "soul of Nation" (SON) and "Mahatma Gandhi"(Bapu)....Read on what I read..... SON: Bapu it's me,are you sleeping....? BAPU: How can you ask that...don't you know this day in the year 1948..I was gu...

But 'PAPU' Can "Vote"...'Sala'..!

"Sala".. is a generally accepted slang for both 'hum' the "Hindustani" and 'tum' the "Indian". Together this "HUM TUM" make the "Aam Admi"of the world's largest 'democracy'. This is our "INDIA".I agree with the TV ad that almost says "My India Strongest" in spite of the "Everest" of issues that surround her. Normally in this country the fate of the 'ordinary' people ie 'Aam Admi' always remain woefully harassed, pushed and frustrated through the year. However at the close every 5 years this 'Aam Admi' suddenly become extraordinarily powerful and remain wooed by all 'big, small and sundry' political parties of the country. Yes it is time for General Election. In the coming months for the 15th Lok Sabha, 714 million eligible voters would be 'bee lining' to the ballot boxes across 29 states,6 union territories to elect 543 members . 'Jaago-...

My expiriment with "TRUTH"..

It was today but the year was 1981 and the day was probably a Saturday. I was there on the ceremonial stretch of "Raj path".There were about 4 lac people like me "all excited", getting ready for the "action shot" for Richard Atendbrough's film "GANDHI". The scene was Gandhiji's "funeral procession".I was wearing white khadi "Pajama & Kurta" which I bought from Khadi gram udyog at 'Regal building the previous evening. This was the recommended "dress code" for the shoot. Probably I never thought then that I was about to be part of a "live action crowd" of this magnitude that will never again be filmed. Soon the heavy camera's parked on the cranes started rolling. I lost the count of how many times those giant like cameras zoomed in and zoomed out of me. I was simply emotionally charged walking the stretch shouting "Vande Matram","Mahatma Gandhi" "AmarRahe"...
