My take on "IPL"

Contradictions, controversies, mega parties,'Bollywood glitters', "long legs and short covered" "Cheer Leaders" besides some 'Sporty' moments and few "bouts" of cricketing made IPL 3 a sheer "60" days of "non stop" entertainment. Mr.Lalit Modi deserves our whole hearty congratulations" for putting up the "IPL" show with a "fine cut" publicity and an excellent "back foot" drive "executions". However Mr. Lalit Modi is currently seen "hogging" the lime light for all "wrong reasons". His achieving an enviable "run rate" and posting a "mega crore" without being neither on the "pitch" and nor running "between the wickets" is something that cannot happen without a 'proper' and 'well oiled' "umpiring pact" in place. No sensible person in his right mind can accept BCCI's claim that no other members of the 'governing body' was involved in the "IPL" loot. An "Aam Aadmi" will never buy the story that one "Lalit Modi',could keep scoring "mega hits" in every theater of "IPL" drama without a strong "runner" support and a "well thought" "field placements" from inside "BCCI" pavilion. Should we also believe that our enforcement, and Income tax authorities, and other various government ministries needed three "IPL" mega years , one "Shashi Tharoor" and a few "Lalit Modi" 'tweets', to realize the existence of an ongoing "multi crore" "scam" in the "IPL" which has now become an unstoppable "breaking news" for the media channels. The "BCCI" "governing body" pretending to be not the "players" in the "loot" is simply making a "mockery" of one's own "conscience"
The need of the hour is a "quick dissolution" of the entire "governing body" at "BCCI" and initiating a "fast track" investigation on each and every member of the "BCCI" governing body. "Lalit Modi" is simply a part of a shrewed "corporate world" who knows that without keeping the "insiders" "happy" and "prosperous" no "venture" can ever "succeed" like "success" and incidentally "Indian premier league" was a "mega" success from the word "go"..!

In conversation with Bapu....

With 'Sare Jahan Se Achcha' and 'Abide with Me'the Soul-stirring martial tunes and solemn drum beats at the majestic Raisina Hills the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony marked the conclusion of the week long ceremonial functions of India celebrating her 62nd year of Republic. As the illumination lit up the edifices of Imperial India..my thought reached out to that day into the history of independence that finally dropped the curtain on a life called "Gandhi"...the man whose experiment with truth may not have jelled with today but his name has truly become the brand that remain most misused & manipulated both in trade & politics. As I key-in these lines I can read out the conversation that would have transpired between the "soul of Nation" (SON) and "Mahatma Gandhi"(Bapu)....Read on what I read..... SON: Bapu it's me,are you sleeping....? BAPU: How can you ask that...don't you know this day in the year 1948..I was gu...

But 'PAPU' Can "Vote"...'Sala'..!

"Sala".. is a generally accepted slang for both 'hum' the "Hindustani" and 'tum' the "Indian". Together this "HUM TUM" make the "Aam Admi"of the world's largest 'democracy'. This is our "INDIA".I agree with the TV ad that almost says "My India Strongest" in spite of the "Everest" of issues that surround her. Normally in this country the fate of the 'ordinary' people ie 'Aam Admi' always remain woefully harassed, pushed and frustrated through the year. However at the close every 5 years this 'Aam Admi' suddenly become extraordinarily powerful and remain wooed by all 'big, small and sundry' political parties of the country. Yes it is time for General Election. In the coming months for the 15th Lok Sabha, 714 million eligible voters would be 'bee lining' to the ballot boxes across 29 states,6 union territories to elect 543 members . 'Jaago-...

My expiriment with "TRUTH"..

It was today but the year was 1981 and the day was probably a Saturday. I was there on the ceremonial stretch of "Raj path".There were about 4 lac people like me "all excited", getting ready for the "action shot" for Richard Atendbrough's film "GANDHI". The scene was Gandhiji's "funeral procession".I was wearing white khadi "Pajama & Kurta" which I bought from Khadi gram udyog at 'Regal building the previous evening. This was the recommended "dress code" for the shoot. Probably I never thought then that I was about to be part of a "live action crowd" of this magnitude that will never again be filmed. Soon the heavy camera's parked on the cranes started rolling. I lost the count of how many times those giant like cameras zoomed in and zoomed out of me. I was simply emotionally charged walking the stretch shouting "Vande Matram","Mahatma Gandhi" "AmarRahe"...
