The story of the "Unsold"..!

It looks like I am still in the "Cricket nets". This has nothing at all to do with improving "cricketing techniques. I am just trying to "warm up" to deliver "googly" that I hope will set some reasoning to wipe out the "wrong ones" that is consuming the passions of all on the other side of the "boundary".

Every one knows that cricket no more is a gentleman's game. Over the years "OD" matches have taken priority over "Test Cricketing". Now with the emergence of IPL series, "cricketing" has come to become the most highly "staked" business venture.

The IPL-3 bidding results is truly hurting and disappointing to all of us "cricket loving" millions across the world. Our sentiments may remain hurt since we will not be able to watch the cool headed "Pakistani" batsman "Misbah-ul-Haq" batting under pressure. We will also miss the privilege of watching the "Boom Boom Afridi" in action. "Arfidi" incidentally is one among the only three cricketers in the history of "ODS" to have achieved 5000 runs and 200 wickets. In short we in India will be sadly missing the "Pakistani cricketers" in action in the up coming IPL-3.

The "stake holders" who are the "owners" of the "IPL" events cannot 'wish away' their business angle even if it is assumed that "cricket" is their true passion. We all know that it was Pakistan's "political decision" when they refused to permit their players to play at "IPL-2" last year. However today it is purely a "business reasons" of the "stake holders" that is keeping away the "Pakistani players" from IPL-3.

I totally agree with "Shilpa Shetty" when she said that "Rajasthan Royals" were not convinced about the availability of "Pakistani players". Looking at the global scenario of "terrorism" I think it was a 'prudent' "business decision" and specially so when the world knows that "cricketing" under the "IPL" flag will always remain more of a serious "business venture" than a "game of chance". Well at the end of it all, what the "IPL" will take home will always remain a story "unsold"..!

MY MODISTORY

I am one among 900  million plus    "nuts and bolts" of our  Democracy , who   become "faceless" faces in the crowd after  every 5 years.  Year 2014 election was in every sense historic It was beyond doubt a landslide victory for BJP and the beginning of  the so called "MODI" Raj  In year 2014 my reason and my josh for  casting my vote for  BJP was "Modi". His speeches were "sparkling confidence" that set ablaze the confidence of  the nation that was trying to rise up from the cesspool of corruption   Looking back now after 11 years I realise that year 2014 was also  the beginning of era called   "Political Branding" that would  covert  a "politician" into a larger than life  "Mega Leader" Perhaps that is the reason that today in politics "anti-incumbency" does not matter at all . Here are  in brief  a Common man's  bunch of thoughts on "Modi Story". These ...

CLARITY IN CHAOS

The Bhagavad Gita is a living scripture  universally relevant  today as it was 5000 years ago in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. It is a divine conversation that took place in the battlefield of Kurukshetra  between two best  friends, Lord Krishna the Charioteer and Arjuna the warrior.  'Bhagavad Gita' is an integral part of of Indian mythology  I have always believed mythology is not for everyone including me.  So when my friend, the author of the book  "Understanding Bhagavad Gita", gave me a  copy to review , I was not very comfortable.  I like  'Arjuna'  started looking for excuses . However one day not very soon , "The Recipe For A Better Life " the part of the title  hooked me into reading it The author has covered the essence of 'Gita' inside the  160 pages, through   eighteen Chapters.  Every chapter has an "Introduction", a "Summary" and a "Reflection" The simplicity of his writing gives...
