However you can't remain so casual about a name called "GANDHI". Today this name has proved to be much more than Domino's power pizza because the "aam aadmi" is loving it. Honestly be it Mac or Donald....this is no branding campaign. This name "Gandhi" today dominates the political power of the largest democracy in the world.This name doesn't need muscle power to inspire "aam aadmi". 'Symbolic' gestures of "austerity" drives and "cattle-travel" are enough to keep this "Gandhi family".roaring with power. Democracy at the end of it all remains for them simply a "family affair".
Far away from this 'Gandhi' of today..there once stood a "Gandhi" who dared the mighty British Empire with his 'simplicity' and 'tolerance' to "Quit India".For him 'austerity' and 'cattle travel' was never "symbolic gestures" but a way of life. He became the very "Heart Beat" for millions of Indians in their collective struggle to 'dare','dream' and 'deliver' this country from the slavery of the "British Raj".
