Because "WE" are worth it !!!

The only person who can tell us what is our 'worth'..is just "us". Sadly most of us remain ignorant of this and carry on with our life, compromised and reconciled to fate and circumstances. We all know politics in this country keep hitting a new low with every dawn. The greed ,arrogance and lust for power among our national and regional political leaders are becoming more and more contagious. They are today like those computer virus called 'Worm' & 'Trojan horse'. One remains compromising this country's security in the name of secularism and the other always has a private agenda for squandering & syphoning the country's 'wealth' & 'economy. Believe it or not we need to shake away our indifference and a reconciled attitude and task the politicians to perform or perish. It is time for us to recognize, assert and value the importance of our 'VOTE'. We agree that all the political parties in this country are corrupt.

"Korbo,Lorbo,Jeetbo Re"!!!

There are two IPL's almost being played around the same time. One in South Africa and the other back here on our own home pitch. One IPL is normally branded as a gentleman's game. The other IPL is generally regarded a rogue's ball game. One IPL has set of rules that remain cardinal to the game. The other IPL may have rules but hardly remain visible. In one IPL it is essential to deliver to win. In the other IPL it is just winning that matters. In one IPL it is your stamina that monitors your score card.In the other IPL it is your nexus to goons and antisocial elements that works your vote bank. In one IPL the bowler swings the ball and the batsman drives it to cover. In the other IPL the politicians will twist the fact to cover their misdeeds to drive in the votes. In one IPL umpiring remains the most effective watchdog to see the rules of the game are not flouted. In the other IPL umpiring remains just an eye wash to hood wink the voters. In one IPL if you are caught you ar

Yeh aram ka mamla hai....'kasab..se'!

'India today' is witness to criminals in hordes walking freely and famously the corridors of power& politics and also remorselessly stalking the streets of metropolis as Netas .The common man here today stands woefully convinced to accept this as his fate and perhaps the destiny too. Does it not make us repulsively helpless to see our 'judiciary system' going all out to protect and invest its entire machinery in ensuring that it doesn't err in declaring "Mohammed Ajmal Kasab" "GUILTY"of Massacre. He is the one lone terrorist caught in the act in the Mumbai's 26/11 terror attack. 26/11 saw people dropping dead on the streets without even getting a 'wink' of time to realise what hit him and her. It was a massacre that ran 'live'& full house on all channels. All the channels remained that day 'frenzy' with sadistic pleasure in beaming & zooming blood, bodies and human agony .It was a day when all the TRPs went

IPL vs IPL..howzzat..?

There is no choice. This IPL series has to be played here on the home pitch 'India'. 'You' 'Me' and 'Us' defiantly cannot afford to miss these matches that will be played across the country beginning this month. The stakes are our collective 'fate' and not the Bollywood biggie's lust called 'money'. The Outcome of this match therefore is going to be very crucial for all of us. Yes this "Indian Public league" (IPL)team is going to be 'You' 'Me' and millions of 'Us'..and we will be the batting team. "Indian political League"(IPL) consisting of various national & regional political parties, including herds of hungry 'fronts. They will put together remain both a great and notorious fielding team. Swinging and spinning the ball they will tempt us into hitting the loose deliveries. No doubt it will be a match of 'unequals',yet we should keep in mind that in this cricket..it is this &

But 'PAPU' Can "Vote"...'Sala'..!

"Sala".. is a generally accepted slang for both 'hum' the "Hindustani" and 'tum' the "Indian". Together this "HUM TUM" make the "Aam Admi"of the world's largest 'democracy'. This is our "INDIA".I agree with the TV ad that almost says "My India Strongest" in spite of the "Everest" of issues that surround her. Normally in this country the fate of the 'ordinary' people ie 'Aam Admi' always remain woefully harassed, pushed and frustrated through the year. However at the close every 5 years this 'Aam Admi' suddenly become extraordinarily powerful and remain wooed by all 'big, small and sundry' political parties of the country. Yes it is time for General Election. In the coming months for the 15th Lok Sabha, 714 million eligible voters would be 'bee lining' to the ballot boxes across 29 states,6 union territories to elect 543 members . 'Jaago-

My "Kodak Moments" @ 81st "OSCARS"

I am not at all a 'fan follower' of any 'Award' ceremony. This has nothing to do with my frustration for not even bagging a 'consolation' prize through my 'Academic' years. However as a 'normal Indian' who will never tire of admiring the "HOLLYWOOD"..I decided to be one among the millions of Indians, who would have sat through this morning in front of their TV set watching 'live' the 81st Oscar Award Ceremony being held '7' seas away at city of "LOS ANGELES". The glitzy surrounds at the "Kodak" theater never for a moment gave me any feel of a "Recessioned America". 'Recession' or 'Slum.?.'p' the glitter & shows goes on, be it Hollywood or our own "Bollywood". Talking of awards, "Slumdog Millionaire" bagging 8 awards does not excite me.I know most of my 'fellow Indians' may absolutely remain 'disagreed' with me on that. To me "

'No'.. "British Mambo Jambo"!

We know every 'dog' has his 'day'.But the dog I am writing about is something special. Awards after awards are pouring cats & dogs' on this 'Dog' ever since it was unleashed. Now believe me I am not referring to any 'Dog Show'. You guessed it right I am talking about 'Slum dog Millionaire' which is all set to walk the 'Red Carpet' this Sunday at the 81st Oscar award ceremony at "Kodak Theater" Los Angeles. Is "Slum dog Millionaire" a 'masterpiece'?. Now I am not qualified to make that statement. After all you need a 'master' to be 'his Master's voice'. As an average Indian movie goer I did find it good in the usual way.It did have some patches of "SATYA" and "BLACK FRIDAY"..but never carried the intensity and depth of those movies. I am not offended like Bollywood's big 'B' for its glorifying the slums & poverty of India. I do know for sure such sl
