Yeh aram ka mamla hai....'kasab..se'!

'India today' is witness to criminals in hordes walking freely and famously the corridors of power& politics and also remorselessly stalking the streets of metropolis as Netas .The common man here today stands woefully convinced to accept this as his fate and perhaps the destiny too.
Does it not make us repulsively helpless to see our 'judiciary system' going all out to protect and invest its entire machinery in ensuring that it doesn't err in declaring "Mohammed Ajmal Kasab" "GUILTY"of Massacre. He is the one lone terrorist caught in the act in the Mumbai's 26/11 terror attack.
26/11 saw people dropping dead on the streets without even getting a 'wink' of time to realise what hit him and her. It was a massacre that ran 'live'& full house on all channels. All the channels remained that day 'frenzy' with sadistic pleasure in beaming & zooming blood, bodies and human agony .It was a day when all the TRPs went tearing the sky..as 'we' the 'viewers' sat cuddled in front of our TV.
Is our 'judiciary' finding these 'evidences' not enough to prove Kasab 'GUILTY' or is it dragging its political feet to tell the world how unbiased we remain in delivering justice. Ironically this is the same judiciary that becomes hyper in declaring an 'innocent' guilty once it is convinced that he has no political back up.
The common man may remain convinced about politicians relations to judiciary. However he can never prove that in the court of Law,because our judiciary still does not recognize a 'live in' relationship. It requires proof of a "NIKHA" to understand the marriage.Anyways the scope of a "Talaq" here is always dependent on serious political awakening. However such political awakening has never remained 'affordable' to 'political parties' & politicians . After all 'yeh aram ka mamla hai..."KASAB...SE. What say "M A K"....?

In conversation with Bapu....

With 'Sare Jahan Se Achcha' and 'Abide with Me'the Soul-stirring martial tunes and solemn drum beats at the majestic Raisina Hills the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony marked the conclusion of the week long ceremonial functions of India celebrating her 62nd year of Republic. As the illumination lit up the edifices of Imperial India..my thought reached out to that day into the history of independence that finally dropped the curtain on a life called "Gandhi"...the man whose experiment with truth may not have jelled with today but his name has truly become the brand that remain most misused & manipulated both in trade & politics. As I key-in these lines I can read out the conversation that would have transpired between the "soul of Nation" (SON) and "Mahatma Gandhi"(Bapu)....Read on what I read..... SON: Bapu it's me,are you sleeping....? BAPU: How can you ask that...don't you know this day in the year 1948..I was gu...

But 'PAPU' Can "Vote"...'Sala'..!

"Sala".. is a generally accepted slang for both 'hum' the "Hindustani" and 'tum' the "Indian". Together this "HUM TUM" make the "Aam Admi"of the world's largest 'democracy'. This is our "INDIA".I agree with the TV ad that almost says "My India Strongest" in spite of the "Everest" of issues that surround her. Normally in this country the fate of the 'ordinary' people ie 'Aam Admi' always remain woefully harassed, pushed and frustrated through the year. However at the close every 5 years this 'Aam Admi' suddenly become extraordinarily powerful and remain wooed by all 'big, small and sundry' political parties of the country. Yes it is time for General Election. In the coming months for the 15th Lok Sabha, 714 million eligible voters would be 'bee lining' to the ballot boxes across 29 states,6 union territories to elect 543 members . 'Jaago-...

My expiriment with "TRUTH"..

It was today but the year was 1981 and the day was probably a Saturday. I was there on the ceremonial stretch of "Raj path".There were about 4 lac people like me "all excited", getting ready for the "action shot" for Richard Atendbrough's film "GANDHI". The scene was Gandhiji's "funeral procession".I was wearing white khadi "Pajama & Kurta" which I bought from Khadi gram udyog at 'Regal building the previous evening. This was the recommended "dress code" for the shoot. Probably I never thought then that I was about to be part of a "live action crowd" of this magnitude that will never again be filmed. Soon the heavy camera's parked on the cranes started rolling. I lost the count of how many times those giant like cameras zoomed in and zoomed out of me. I was simply emotionally charged walking the stretch shouting "Vande Matram","Mahatma Gandhi" "AmarRahe"...
