"Ache Din"...Coming Soon!
India is changing faster than any other country in the world. Internet and High-tech Start-Ups are thrusting the India economy to newer heights. India is the the home of Bollywood the movie city which is larger than movie life called Hollywood. Besides being the largest Democracy,India is also the 7th largest country in the world that has to her credit a most ancient civilization that taught the world to "count'. India is not a country of snake charmers but a land of countless wonders. India story in short is a grand epic of history and heritage.
Today the idea of a Digital India may keep the hackers overworked, yet as a country India remain not only exited to experiment the emergence of a cashless society but also feel happy of becoming the world's largest consumer market.I am naturally therefore proud to be an Indian and in India.
Growing up and being here has allowed me to encounter the every day fact of living. For instance for us time will always remain more auspicious than precious. We as a society have ardent belief in magic
(Chamatkar) that is why our Babas are more famous and enormously rich than our scientists. We are the only country where people fight to be termed 'backward'.
In our election we don't cast our vote, we vote our 'caste'.Politics here remain the fast track route to "Richi Rich Club" and Political parties here are either individually owned or a family business. In spite of being a secular nation here every Muslim has to prove his patriotism and every Hindu his secularism.
Copyright for us means right to copy and that's the reason why plagiarism remains a thriving business option. We remain divided by local language and united by foreign language, a reason why knowing and speaking 'English' remain both a cultural and social status. Here a 'Black Cat' crossing the road can stop people on their track than any 'red lights' on the traffic signals can achieve,
We have commendable civic sense. We believe in littering the streets than lighting them up. Mahatma Gandhi the father of our nation once said that we Indians if unitedly spit together, it can perhaps drown the world. Bless my soul, we never remain united.
We go on candle light march for rape victims but we never march to rise up to fight against rape.Having said all this we know ,we can when we 'will', can become mighty enough to move the mountains without being led by any leader. It is this optimism in our DNA that give us the strength to tolerate the intolerance of politicians and live the everyday ordeals in the hope that "ACHE DIN" are coming soon....
