Excitement of F-1 live and roaring

F I racing may never be a popular sports in our cricket crazy India. However that will not stop the excitement of watching on our home track the Formula-one racing ."Buddh international Circuit at greater Noida is all set to flag off the GRAND PRIX on the 28th . This October is all set to be a greatest festivity season. So let us get set and get familiar with the Big picture of Formula one Racing. This post is a walk through on all about TEAMS..

The field of competitors are broken into teams. with each team running two cars. Some are manufacturer's team and others are independent teams. The example of manufacturer(called constructors) in F 1 language are Honda, Renault,Toyota. The independent team imply that the entire car is manufactured except the engine, which is procured from major engine suppliers such as BMW, Mercedes and Honda. In either case the teams have to get the sponsorship from Global corporate giants who remain eager to get their logo in front of the world wide audience. The F1 team budget run into hundreds of millions of dollars.

The current participating teams are BMW, Ferrari, Renault, Mclaren,Toyota,Williams,
Red Bull, Honda, Aguri and Force India. Ferrari and Mclaren are the two top teams in the F1 circuit. Red Bull and Force India are relatively the new entrants.

Every team run two cars. The team creating is dynamic. One team mate is considered primary driver and other secondary driver. This is based on seniority and skill. By and large the team mate race against each other like any other competitors. Here is a quick listing of few Race drivers and the cars they will be driving...

Race drivers..Fernando & Felipe Massa...Ferrari
Race drivers..Michael Schumacher & Nico Rosberg...Mercedes
Race drivers..Sebastian Vettel & Mark Webber...Red Bull-Renault
Race Drivers..Adrian Sutil & Paul di Resta...Force India-Mercedes

The drivers remain on the razors end every nano second they are on the track. Now how does the team move up in position ... that's my next post..... till then may the excitment of F1 remain live and roaring..

MY MODISTORY

I am one among 900  million plus    "nuts and bolts" of our  Democracy , who   become "faceless" faces in the crowd after  every 5 years.  Year 2014 election was in every sense historic It was beyond doubt a landslide victory for BJP and the beginning of  the so called "MODI" Raj  In year 2014 my reason and my josh for  casting my vote for  BJP was "Modi". His speeches were "sparkling confidence" that set ablaze the confidence of  the nation that was trying to rise up from the cesspool of corruption   Looking back now after 11 years I realise that year 2014 was also  the beginning of era called   "Political Branding" that would  covert  a "politician" into a larger than life  "Mega Leader" Perhaps that is the reason that today in politics "anti-incumbency" does not matter at all . Here are  in brief  a Common man's  bunch of thoughts on "Modi Story". These ...

CLARITY IN CHAOS

The Bhagavad Gita is a living scripture  universally relevant  today as it was 5000 years ago in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. It is a divine conversation that took place in the battlefield of Kurukshetra  between two best  friends, Lord Krishna the Charioteer and Arjuna the warrior.  'Bhagavad Gita' is an integral part of of Indian mythology  I have always believed mythology is not for everyone including me.  So when my friend, the author of the book  "Understanding Bhagavad Gita", gave me a  copy to review , I was not very comfortable.  I like  'Arjuna'  started looking for excuses . However one day not very soon , "The Recipe For A Better Life " the part of the title  hooked me into reading it The author has covered the essence of 'Gita' inside the  160 pages, through   eighteen Chapters.  Every chapter has an "Introduction", a "Summary" and a "Reflection" The simplicity of his writing gives...
