our right to say what's wrong...

Not any time before in the history of independent India did we see the bureaucrats , the politicians and the very governance vandalising the integrity and the very trust of the people. Their unbridled power & greed is eating into the very texture of our economy that is supposed to be globally vibrant & investment friendly. They truly have emerged as Modern India's Muhammad Ghaznis' and Muhammad Ghauris'. Be it the power heads at state level, be it the powerful s' at the center, they all keep creating & exploiting opportunities to nurse their greed, grudge and remain obsessed to self grandeur.

It is very rare to have an intellectual Prime Minister whose honesty & integrity is totally scratch free. However his lame & limping leadership is tormenting. How can a nation tolerate a leader who neither speaks up nor speaks back. To add to the woes of our democracy we have also a leader of the opposition in the parliament who always remain bent in adjourning the sessions be it winter, be it monsoon rather than ensuring that these sessions invest quality time in debating the bills that are pivotal for the economic growth & industrial development of the country.

The chaotic governance and a puny leadership has set to boil the peoples' level of tolerance. Now this becomes a perfect ground for a so called representatives of civil society to emerge on the scene. I don't think Anna Hazare and his elite team can vouch that they are representing the common man's common cause. If that was truly so, they would have given a "Halla Bol" call on issues of rising cost, rising crimes and receding public civic amenities and not for a war against corruption.

Let us remind ourselves that a LOK PAL at the best can become a semblance of treatment for corruption and not a cure for corruption. Does the issue truly warrant holding the entire system to ransom and keep a teeming force of humanity engaged in unproductive sloganeering and burning paper reams. If we are trying to endorse Anna Hazare & his team as paragon of virtues or the very custodian of ethical governance, then we are only trying to create a "banana of democracy". For god sake let us not get encouraged to transport a "Tahir Square" into India.

The year of independence is no more relevant for us but the date is.It is today every year since 1947 our political leaders get the opportunity to showcase their patriotism and Gandhi and Gandhism become their grammar for the day. However for we the people patriotism is a living emotion, that gives us the strength to know our right to say what's wrong...Happy Independence Day

DE LHI Gasping!!

Delhiites have turned   indifferent to the " Toxic Air" that they breath  They have stopped bothering about the "smoke screen " that is keeping away   "Sun light"  from giving them the ray of "HOPE"  to keep their lungs "Sun Shined" . Like "AGE"  for them now  even the  AQI (Air Quality Index) has become a sheer number .They have long since stopped reacting to the AQI  shooting up. They have lost their "JOSH"" to protest for their fundamental right to breath. Delhi is the very seat of the duly elected "POWER".  of  World's largest Democracy  The "custodian" of this Democracy reside here  at   "7 LOK KALYAN"  but remain hardly visible in and around the city This  "custodian"  continues to remain the very "Most"  'Frequent Flier' of our Democracy and  the only  'STAR '  campaigner for the political party that he comes from.    Getting re-elected...

MY MODISTORY

I am one among 900  million plus    "nuts and bolts" of our  Democracy , who   become "faceless" faces in the crowd after  every 5 years.  Year 2014 election was in every sense historic It was beyond doubt a landslide victory for BJP and the beginning of  the so called "MODI" Raj  In year 2014 my reason and my josh for  casting my vote for  BJP was "Modi". His speeches were "sparkling confidence" that set ablaze the confidence of  the nation that was trying to rise up from the cesspool of corruption   Looking back now after 11 years I realise that year 2014 was also  the beginning of era called   "Political Branding" that would  covert  a "politician" into a larger than life  "Mega Leader" Perhaps that is the reason that today in politics "anti-incumbency" does not matter at all . Here are  in brief  a Common man's  bunch of thoughts on "Modi Story". These ...
