Will we..? Mr.Obama..!

We are the largest democracy in this world. We are seen today as a global weight that has the potentials of turning around the economy of the oldest democracy across all the continents. There is no country in this world that is not wooing us for their own economic stability and well being. We have surely emerged as one true colossus figure to the united states of America. President Barrack Obama's indispensable India is all set to welcome the 44th President of America to the negotiating table, that may lead to giving jobs to million Americans back home, that may become a potential catalyst in bringing back the shine into the lack luster American economy.

with all the President's men,an army of sniffing dogs, US secret service agents, helicopters, ship and high end security instruments President Obama's Saturday to Monday visit, should find Mumbai and Delhi virtually turned into a sort of Fort Knox.

President Obama has already proved to be a great orator. He has already achieved successful lobbying into the power corridors of South and North block. His obsession of sorts for Gandhi & India is also playing into Indian minds. Let us hope all these does not end up Indian government signing up all the dotted lines, that may end seeing India, buying war planes worth almost more than $8 billion and creating over 30,000 jobs for Americans. I am not against America's achieving this, but I am defiantly against America achieving this without in turn giving India her full endorsement for a permanent seat on UN Security Council, lifting all the bans on exporting dual-use technology, plus lifing all the clouds for a free flow India outsourcing..

Let us for once come straight and convert, our America obsession to a scam free opportunity for India.. Will we..? Mr.Obama..!

MY MODISTORY

I am one among 900  million plus    "nuts and bolts" of our  Democracy , who   become "faceless" faces in the crowd after  every 5 years.  Year 2014 election was in every sense historic It was beyond doubt a landslide victory for BJP and the beginning of  the so called "MODI" Raj  In year 2014 my reason and my josh for  casting my vote for  BJP was "Modi". His speeches were "sparkling confidence" that set ablaze the confidence of  the nation that was trying to rise up from the cesspool of corruption   Looking back now after 11 years I realise that year 2014 was also  the beginning of era called   "Political Branding" that would  covert  a "politician" into a larger than life  "Mega Leader" Perhaps that is the reason that today in politics "anti-incumbency" does not matter at all . Here are  in brief  a Common man's  bunch of thoughts on "Modi Story". These ...

CLARITY IN CHAOS

The Bhagavad Gita is a living scripture  universally relevant  today as it was 5000 years ago in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. It is a divine conversation that took place in the battlefield of Kurukshetra  between two best  friends, Lord Krishna the Charioteer and Arjuna the warrior.  'Bhagavad Gita' is an integral part of of Indian mythology  I have always believed mythology is not for everyone including me.  So when my friend, the author of the book  "Understanding Bhagavad Gita", gave me a  copy to review , I was not very comfortable.  I like  'Arjuna'  started looking for excuses . However one day not very soon , "The Recipe For A Better Life " the part of the title  hooked me into reading it The author has covered the essence of 'Gita' inside the  160 pages, through   eighteen Chapters.  Every chapter has an "Introduction", a "Summary" and a "Reflection" The simplicity of his writing gives...
