"Raj" the "headache"

"Hai Hey Bom Bom Bombay Meri Hai" This is that evergreen Usha Iyer's pop number, which will even today keep you dancing happily on the sands of "Chowpathi". The politics of 'nonsense' have succeeded in re-cherishing BOMBAY as Mumbai.Never mind still for the "Aam Aadmi" this wonderful & glorious mega city will always remain a
"jara hat ke jara bach ke, yeh hai Bombay meri jaan". So why "wake up "Sid" to say sorry!
Politicians and associated events are making this city a Waterloo of sorts for the "Aam Aadmi".How else should I describe "BOMBAY TODAY" which is reeling under a 'cult' of aimless, non-creative and non-responsible community of "idiots",who are now going round the city and its suburbs spreading a situation of anarchy.
The'Aam Aadmi'here remain angered, inconvenienced, miserable and totally shocked by their every day drama. The inaction of the state government & the "Aam Aadmi's" own "used-to" attitude is helping this stupid cult to gain ground.
We know "headache" is a disorder of an organ in the human body. However what we may not know is that "Raj Thackery" is a 'disorder' of our political system, which if not corrected now will very soon become a persisting 'migraine' for the society.
What else would you expect from all those "Mindless Narcissist Sena"(MNS).
Let us understand a 'migraine' needs to be treated for "cure" and not just for a "relief"

In conversation with Bapu....

With 'Sare Jahan Se Achcha' and 'Abide with Me'the Soul-stirring martial tunes and solemn drum beats at the majestic Raisina Hills the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony marked the conclusion of the week long ceremonial functions of India celebrating her 62nd year of Republic. As the illumination lit up the edifices of Imperial India..my thought reached out to that day into the history of independence that finally dropped the curtain on a life called "Gandhi"...the man whose experiment with truth may not have jelled with today but his name has truly become the brand that remain most misused & manipulated both in trade & politics. As I key-in these lines I can read out the conversation that would have transpired between the "soul of Nation" (SON) and "Mahatma Gandhi"(Bapu)....Read on what I read..... SON: Bapu it's me,are you sleeping....? BAPU: How can you ask that...don't you know this day in the year 1948..I was gu...

But 'PAPU' Can "Vote"...'Sala'..!

"Sala".. is a generally accepted slang for both 'hum' the "Hindustani" and 'tum' the "Indian". Together this "HUM TUM" make the "Aam Admi"of the world's largest 'democracy'. This is our "INDIA".I agree with the TV ad that almost says "My India Strongest" in spite of the "Everest" of issues that surround her. Normally in this country the fate of the 'ordinary' people ie 'Aam Admi' always remain woefully harassed, pushed and frustrated through the year. However at the close every 5 years this 'Aam Admi' suddenly become extraordinarily powerful and remain wooed by all 'big, small and sundry' political parties of the country. Yes it is time for General Election. In the coming months for the 15th Lok Sabha, 714 million eligible voters would be 'bee lining' to the ballot boxes across 29 states,6 union territories to elect 543 members . 'Jaago-...

My expiriment with "TRUTH"..

It was today but the year was 1981 and the day was probably a Saturday. I was there on the ceremonial stretch of "Raj path".There were about 4 lac people like me "all excited", getting ready for the "action shot" for Richard Atendbrough's film "GANDHI". The scene was Gandhiji's "funeral procession".I was wearing white khadi "Pajama & Kurta" which I bought from Khadi gram udyog at 'Regal building the previous evening. This was the recommended "dress code" for the shoot. Probably I never thought then that I was about to be part of a "live action crowd" of this magnitude that will never again be filmed. Soon the heavy camera's parked on the cranes started rolling. I lost the count of how many times those giant like cameras zoomed in and zoomed out of me. I was simply emotionally charged walking the stretch shouting "Vande Matram","Mahatma Gandhi" "AmarRahe"...
