BIHAR ELECTION 2025

The Chief Electoral Officer of India has at last announced the dates for Assembly Elections for Bihar's 243  Assembly seats. The  election will be held in 2 phases,  6th of November (Thursday) and  11th of November (Tuesday)  The outcome of the poll is expected to be announced on 16th, i.e. the following Sunday.

Bihar is one of the four "BIMARU" States of India The other three are UP, Rajasthan and  Madhya Pradesh   These "BIMARU" States are currently running  under "Modi Ki Guarantee".    The two major political Parties that are in this Bihar election fray are  (1) BJP led NDA alliance that includes JDU'.  Nitish Kumar, the sitting CM  belongs to JDU  (2)   The "Mahaghatbandhan"  an alliance of RJD and Congress  .However there is also a third Political Party which  is  "Jan Suraaj".

This is  a newly found  Party led by its founder Prashant Kishore colloquially known as PK. He is a Nationally popular and well-known political strategist and a renowned psephologist  He plans to change the way that shapes voters decision in Bihar , which traditionally have been "Freebees" and "Cash for Vote". This new found political philosophy has started resonating very well with the youth and the first time "voters" and has collected enough "protein" to shake away Modi's   dream of  "Phir Banayenge  Naya Bihar"  But....??

Now ,  remember last year Rahul Gandhi's "Bharat Jodo Yatra" forced the BJP to pull back their  "Aab Ki Baar 400 Par " Slogan from their 2024 General Election Campaigning  Now in Bihar  post Rahul Gandhi's "Voter  Adhikar Yatra" which was undertaken to highlight the  infamous "Vote Chori" episode  has collected  a box full of reasons to throw open the BJP's Pandora's Box.  But.... ???

So coming to  those  two  "Buts' mentioned above ,  I can say with my bit of knowledge  that it will be    फिर एक बार एनडीए सरकार"  in Bihar . This time it may be with    "Face Changed" !!!!

Now don't tell me this is  a "Gyanesh Ka Gyan"  !!!

One election one nation is rhyming jumla, nothing else. Leave aside practicality , it should not be done at all, it is against the spirit of the constitution. The very purpose of holding elections is seeking feedback from the people or mandate to continue further or not. You have at least 3 or 4 levels of elections, how is it possible to conduct all this in one, what if a particular state govt loses majority halfway, will the elections be held with 6 months or they have to wait for another 2.5 years. So this is nothing creating confusion in the minds of gullible people.

One Nation One Election, is just another Modi slogan to keep us engaged and away from issues on ground that are really perturbing He is our first PM who is a devotee of his own self When we look back his 11 years we all realize that he was more engaged in his self branding at the expense of tax payers money and hardly anything else The tragedy of this Nation is that majority of us don't want to believe in these ground realities and few who call out are instantly branded anti National but there is always a hope as they say ......

In conversation with Bapu....

With 'Sare Jahan Se Achcha' and 'Abide with Me'the Soul-stirring martial tunes and solemn drum beats at the majestic Raisina Hills the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony marked the conclusion of the week long ceremonial functions of India celebrating her 62nd year of Republic. As the illumination lit up the edifices of Imperial India..my thought reached out to that day into the history of independence that finally dropped the curtain on a life called "Gandhi"...the man whose experiment with truth may not have jelled with today but his name has truly become the brand that remain most misused & manipulated both in trade & politics. As I key-in these lines I can read out the conversation that would have transpired between the "soul of Nation" (SON) and "Mahatma Gandhi"(Bapu)....Read on what I read..... SON: Bapu it's me,are you sleeping....? BAPU: How can you ask that...don't you know this day in the year 1948..I was gu...

But 'PAPU' Can "Vote"...'Sala'..!

"Sala".. is a generally accepted slang for both 'hum' the "Hindustani" and 'tum' the "Indian". Together this "HUM TUM" make the "Aam Admi"of the world's largest 'democracy'. This is our "INDIA".I agree with the TV ad that almost says "My India Strongest" in spite of the "Everest" of issues that surround her. Normally in this country the fate of the 'ordinary' people ie 'Aam Admi' always remain woefully harassed, pushed and frustrated through the year. However at the close every 5 years this 'Aam Admi' suddenly become extraordinarily powerful and remain wooed by all 'big, small and sundry' political parties of the country. Yes it is time for General Election. In the coming months for the 15th Lok Sabha, 714 million eligible voters would be 'bee lining' to the ballot boxes across 29 states,6 union territories to elect 543 members . 'Jaago-...

Just about...being a "Father"

A new world greeted them with smile and happiness when they... "Just met" and soon for them the wedding bells rang... Now, they are happily lost in their own world & together are learning to set- up a 'Home’ of their own... away from what was a home for them a little earlier in the year....That's "his" daughter & "his" son in-law. ..Being very adorable, the house has become little less chirpy after her moving out….. …."He" now does feel the boredom...but will never show it off... Because "he" is the father ...and expected to put on a stern face & always remain a 'matter of fact' person..... He is all set to explore & build-up a learning curve that may see him well in life in about a couple of years from now. After his graduation he may probably start living away from home in a distant land in pursuit of excellence...That's "His" son Being the darling of the house, "he" is...
