HOPE & 'HAMARI' "AAP KI TEAM"




In Cricket  winning the toss  and the condition of the pitch may hold some significance in  wining the match. Cricket  may be infested with politics but politics is not cricket.In cricket  22 yds rectangular ground is called the pitch. But the ground reality in politics is that here  people are the pitch and they are not yards but numbers that cross billion mark and  can also turn desperate at times

It was the desperation of the people in Delhi that created the AAM ADAMI wave which  eventually blew the wind off the Congress and the BJP. Now that Congress has agreed to disagree with BJP and have allowed the 28 seater AAP to carry the burden of governing Delhi let us aasume hypothetically for  coming five years .

Arrivind Kejeriwal and his team have  been tasked to bat, it is worth our vote to keep a  note on how they face the short pitch and political bouncers. With congress umpiring the match, the BJP is bound to go all out looking for match fixing. 

The coming days will let us know how the  'AAP' team will . The Q Will it bat straight or go back foot to cover drive  their  logics for  subsidy  without substance of reasoning only time will answer. Hope Aam Admi in its aggressiveness to do away with Lal Bati culture and bad Capitalism does not turn Delhi into a socialist hub.....Let's hope Hamari  "AAP KI TEAM" meets our expectations..Jai Hind!

But 'PAPU' Can "Vote"...'Sala'..!

"Sala".. is a generally accepted slang for both 'hum' the "Hindustani" and 'tum' the "Indian". Together this "HUM TUM" make the "Aam Admi"of the world's largest 'democracy'. This is our "INDIA".I agree with the TV ad that almost says "My India Strongest" in spite of the "Everest" of issues that surround her. Normally in this country the fate of the 'ordinary' people ie 'Aam Admi' always remain woefully harassed, pushed and frustrated through the year. However at the close every 5 years this 'Aam Admi' suddenly become extraordinarily powerful and remain wooed by all 'big,small and sundry' political parties of the country. My expiriment with "TRUTH"..

It was today but the year was 1981 and the day was probably a Saturday. I was there on the ceremonial stretch of "Raj path".There were about 4 lac people like me "all excited", getting ready for the "action shot" for Richard Atendbrough's film "GANDHI". The scene was Gandhiji's "funeral procession".I was wearing white khadi "Pajama & Kurta" which I bought from Khadi gram udyog at 'Regal building the previous evening. This was the recommended "dress code" for the shoot. Probably I never thought then that I was about to be part of a "live action crowd" of this magnitude that will never again be filmed. Soon the heavy camera's parked on the cranes started rolling. I lost the count of how many times those giant like cameras zoomed in and zoomed out of me. I was simply emotionally charged walking the stretch shouting "Vande Matram","Mahatma Gandhi" "AmarRahe"...
