"Kapil Sibal" aur "10 ka dum"....!
Had I said 'Salu's 10 ka dum'..it would have an instant connect. Anyway I am in no mood to strain my 'gray cells' over the reality shows. Let me instead carry on with Mr.Kapil Sibal's rejuvenation program on "Children,Education,Board". Does this title sound as weird a title....as "Jinnah,India Partition"...? Never mind.!...let me for the moment figure out "10" and tension...!
We all know that a normal child and the majority of them generally get into a serious study pattern only when there is a 'Board Exam' on the head. Now by doing away with 'Board Exam' for 10th class children,it will be a "moja hi moja" time for the 10th class children for 2 years at a stretch. Practically speaking Mr.Kail Sibal and his team are happy in achieving a scheme of things that does't ease pressure but postpone it to re-surface with vengeance after a lull of 2 years. With no Board exam in the 10th, the children generally will not get much noticed for their 'activities' both by parents & teachers and therefore chances of their getting into wrong 'company' and 'misadventures' cannot be ruled out. Apart from this when they come to 12th class after a 'stress' free 2 years, their ability to cope with syllabus, parents, teachers and peer pressure are bound to be more stressful and at times even prove fatal.
'Aam Admi' would have been more happier if Mr.kapil Sibal and his team would have come out with a 'success' story that would have achieved:-
a)Removing discrimination in education on the basis of gender, cast, religion, economic and family back ground.
b)Meaningful & quality education becomes 'affordable' to 'Aam Admi'
c)Mushrooming of schools as a business venture stopped.
I think it is time that our government's flag ship idea "Aam Admi ka sipahi"..steps out from being a mere 'banner' to become....shall I say a "Quick Gun Murugan"...?
Mr Kapil Sibal..we appreciate your 'enthu' for reforming education system. However by removing "Board examination" in 10th class you have only achieved to keep the
10th class children's 'mind' idle in a very 'formal' way....and I am sure at '60' and with 'siblings' you do understand that an "idle mind" is a "devil's workshop"...!
Now am I trying to be a "devil's advocate"..? Well what's wrong in being one...!
