"Hindustan Bol Raha Hai"!

Aam admi today continues to remain so frustrated and pissed up with a "Hindustan" jo dik raha hai"!..that he hardly finds any truth in "Hindustan jo Bol Raha Hai"!.This has absolutely nothing to do with a TV ad with almost a similar title where we see the youth icon 'Deepika Padukone' dancing from one shot to the other on a vigorous brand building exercise for BSNL.
Coming back to Aam admi and his frustrations, let me buzz over his latest irk..in Delhi, the 'epicentre' of power and the venue of the upcoming "commonwealth Games".
Caving roads & buildings, collapsing flyovers, cracking & gaping 'BRT' corridors, over flowing drains, flooding underpasses, derailing "Metros" are some few 'issues' in the parcel of civic "issues" that the Aam admi is enduring as he travels around the city everyday straining his limbs and patience through chaotic traffic jams and blinking traffic lights. However on the other side the local authorities, government agencies and political biggies seem to be happy killing time playing 'passing of the parcel'. Looks like they are waiting for some 'invisible' force to stop the music to 'spot' who is holding the parcel.
Well glorifying action by shifting responsibilities may convince the mute Aam admi. However this may not be enough to convince the 'commonwealth Authorities' who are holding the 'strings' on which precariously hangs the image and prestige of the entire country. This country needs to 'deliver' and not remain perpetually pregnant with promises for "action".Today this is what "Hindustan Bol Raha Hai".."Mano Ya Na Manno".!

MY MODISTORY

I am one among 900  million plus    "nuts and bolts" of our  Democracy , who   become "faceless" faces in the crowd after  every 5 years.  Year 2014 election was in every sense historic It was beyond doubt a landslide victory for BJP and the beginning of  the so called "MODI" Raj  In year 2014 my reason and my josh for  casting my vote for  BJP was "Modi". His speeches were "sparkling confidence" that set ablaze the confidence of  the nation that was trying to rise up from the cesspool of corruption   Looking back now after 11 years I realise that year 2014 was also  the beginning of era called   "Political Branding" that would  covert  a "politician" into a larger than life  "Mega Leader" Perhaps that is the reason that today in politics "anti-incumbency" does not matter at all . Here are  in brief  a Common man's  bunch of thoughts on "Modi Story". These ...

CLARITY IN CHAOS

The Bhagavad Gita is a living scripture  universally relevant  today as it was 5000 years ago in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. It is a divine conversation that took place in the battlefield of Kurukshetra  between two best  friends, Lord Krishna the Charioteer and Arjuna the warrior.  'Bhagavad Gita' is an integral part of of Indian mythology  I have always believed mythology is not for everyone including me.  So when my friend, the author of the book  "Understanding Bhagavad Gita", gave me a  copy to review , I was not very comfortable.  I like  'Arjuna'  started looking for excuses . However one day not very soon , "The Recipe For A Better Life " the part of the title  hooked me into reading it The author has covered the essence of 'Gita' inside the  160 pages, through   eighteen Chapters.  Every chapter has an "Introduction", a "Summary" and a "Reflection" The simplicity of his writing gives...
