"Jinnah" jaise koi nahi..!

Do you think I should have said "Jaswant jaise koi nahi"..for the title of this post. Looking at the marketing prospect of the book "Jinnah":India-Partition-Independence" I am sure even Mr Jaswant Singh would have agreed with me on "Jinnah" jaise koi nahi". Let us get back to Mr.Jinnah.

Any one who has gone through the recorded history of India's Independence at the national Archives of India would agree with me that Mr.Jinnah was no where near to being "Pak" on his ideas of being "SECULAR". Had that been so.! there never would have been today a country called "Pakistan". And our government will not have been investing the "tax payer's" money so heavily on the security of our politicians.

Well let us not fight with our "conscience" over something that happened 62 years ago. Better still let us leave this fight to our political leaders, who anyway don't wear their "conscience" on their "sleeves". Now talking of "sleeves" it reminds me....don't you think it is becoming day by day tough for us to find out what our politicians are carrying up their "sleeves". They ever remain barely visible even while walking & talking on the great Indian roads.Their "talk time" continues to remain 'lasting' and 'ever' going. Thanks to the heavy security ring around them. Now coming to us though we also do our bit of "walking and talking" on the great Indian roads our "talk time" frequently ends abruptly without warning..thanks to our "sans security". Well on all such events when our "talk time" abruptly ends, there is always a lot of action and plenty of "live" coverage on all our national channels....not for any "restoration" of our "talk time"..but simply to glorify on their colour screens..the "heap" of "bloody messy" "flesh" that we instantly turn into ..!!

Please can anyone tell us who are "We"...? We always thought "We" were a face in the crowd...then "We" realised that a 'crowd' never has a "Face"...
Anyway thanks to our politicians they have now given us the name..."Aam Aadmi"
You know something at the end of the day the title of my blog will always remain
"Aam Aadmi jaise koi Nahi"..........
"Jinnah" ho ya "Jaswant"...."Sannu ki aur manu ki farq painda hai"....!

MY MODISTORY

I am one among 900  million plus    "nuts and bolts" of our  Democracy , who   become "faceless" faces in the crowd after  every 5 years.  Year 2014 election was in every sense historic It was beyond doubt a landslide victory for BJP and the beginning of  the so called "MODI" Raj  In year 2014 my reason and my josh for  casting my vote for  BJP was "Modi". His speeches were "sparkling confidence" that set ablaze the confidence of  the nation that was trying to rise up from the cesspool of corruption   Looking back now after 11 years I realise that year 2014 was also  the beginning of era called   "Political Branding" that would  covert  a "politician" into a larger than life  "Mega Leader" Perhaps that is the reason that today in politics "anti-incumbency" does not matter at all . Here are  in brief  a Common man's  bunch of thoughts on "Modi Story". These ...

CLARITY IN CHAOS

The Bhagavad Gita is a living scripture  universally relevant  today as it was 5000 years ago in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. It is a divine conversation that took place in the battlefield of Kurukshetra  between two best  friends, Lord Krishna the Charioteer and Arjuna the warrior.  'Bhagavad Gita' is an integral part of of Indian mythology  I have always believed mythology is not for everyone including me.  So when my friend, the author of the book  "Understanding Bhagavad Gita", gave me a  copy to review , I was not very comfortable.  I like  'Arjuna'  started looking for excuses . However one day not very soon , "The Recipe For A Better Life " the part of the title  hooked me into reading it The author has covered the essence of 'Gita' inside the  160 pages, through   eighteen Chapters.  Every chapter has an "Introduction", a "Summary" and a "Reflection" The simplicity of his writing gives...
