"Time will say who will Win"....

Back in 2014 the Nation was so pissed up with Scams and Scamsters that for the first time it decided  to vote out a Party and vote in a Leader. This was  how Narendra Damodardas Modi arrived on the National  political arena. The rest is history.

Today less than 100 days away this  Nation will once again go  to polls  This time  will this Nation  elect a "PARTY", a MAHAGATHBANDHAN" or a "LEADER" is  a wait and watch scenario till about July  when hopefully the outcome of 2019 General election will be known.  It is therefore no exaggeration  when I  say that  the entire Nation today including our Media channels are busy predicting and debating Election 2019

PM Modi's  working style right from year  2014 has  led  us to believe that he intends to turn  our Democracy  into a dictatorial regime. This may be fairly true and perhaps  needed too.

We are a country of 134 crore with  a  cacophony of religious, cultural and social disharmony. Our politicians  thrive on our sentiments of not tolerating any kind of reforms  For instance the move to  end  Triple Talaq and   remove  discrimination against women from entering Sabarimala  grossly hurt our religious sentiments which was smartly used by our politicians for their political advantage  Modi Govt's Demonetizing Currency Notes and implementing GST remain  touted as great Economic coup of sorts Again Modi govt's extreme intervention in the working of autonomous Central bodies and Institutions have  eroded the people's faith on Central agencies/Institutions  like CBI and RBI. Modi govt's going frenzy on the doctrine of Hindutva, their desperation to construct Ram Mandir at the site of Babri Masjid has all shaken the Nation's faith on concept of Secularism.

Modi's BJP  today is truly on a  crisis mode. They have lost the Assembly elections in MP, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh .They have almost  lost their political  ground in North East India. The news of unholy alliance in UP  between SP and BSP  is  proving a disturbing political factor for Modi  Along with this his not getting any political  foothold for his Party in the Southern Belt is becoming a political  frustration and to add to that West Bengal  continues to remain   a political "NO ENTRY"  zone for his party

Modi government's Political  Progress Report from 2014 till date is both dismal and disappointing. It has definitely given all advantage to politicians like Mamta, Maya, Rahul and host of others to raise  their hood and start their creep towards making their Prime Ministerial aspirations taking shape.

I may  agree that Modi's Democracy is more Dictatorial and less Democracy like his  governance, which is more Government and less Governance . Still  I feel that Modi is  Nation's need of the hour. The country definitely needs a Democratic Dictatorship  I can reasonably vouch that major failure of Modi's  performance are the result of the  so called our  Intellect Bureaucracy which has  ganged  up to get rid of their inconvenience called  Narendra Damodardas Modi.  In spite of these administrative and implementation glitches we do see today  millions of children going to schools, million of rural families benefiting from cooking gas and electricity and  there are over 70 million toilets today in rural India and also  today we can  boast of over 120,000 KM of high tech Highways in the Country. We may like it or hate it but the truth is that MODI will continue to remain a need for the Nation's   overall  growth and  to  finally emerge as a true Global Power.

Yes I understand 2019 will not be  a cake walk for Modi but he will definitely take home the Prime Ministership once again for a second  term and that's a certainty. Till then there is no harm in saying "Time will say who will win".... The election 2019.

MY MODISTORY

I am one among 900  million plus    "nuts and bolts" of our  Democracy , who   become "faceless" faces in the crowd after  every 5 years.  Year 2014 election was in every sense historic It was beyond doubt a landslide victory for BJP and the beginning of  the so called "MODI" Raj  In year 2014 my reason and my josh for  casting my vote for  BJP was "Modi". His speeches were "sparkling confidence" that set ablaze the confidence of  the nation that was trying to rise up from the cesspool of corruption   Looking back now after 11 years I realise that year 2014 was also  the beginning of era called   "Political Branding" that would  covert  a "politician" into a larger than life  "Mega Leader" Perhaps that is the reason that today in politics "anti-incumbency" does not matter at all . Here are  in brief  a Common man's  bunch of thoughts on "Modi Story". These ...

CLARITY IN CHAOS

The Bhagavad Gita is a living scripture  universally relevant  today as it was 5000 years ago in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. It is a divine conversation that took place in the battlefield of Kurukshetra  between two best  friends, Lord Krishna the Charioteer and Arjuna the warrior.  'Bhagavad Gita' is an integral part of of Indian mythology  I have always believed mythology is not for everyone including me.  So when my friend, the author of the book  "Understanding Bhagavad Gita", gave me a  copy to review , I was not very comfortable.  I like  'Arjuna'  started looking for excuses . However one day not very soon , "The Recipe For A Better Life " the part of the title  hooked me into reading it The author has covered the essence of 'Gita' inside the  160 pages, through   eighteen Chapters.  Every chapter has an "Introduction", a "Summary" and a "Reflection" The simplicity of his writing gives...
