Here nothing but "Truth"..Pays.!
My childhood has seen me growing up hearing episodes from Ramayana & folklore's of Harischandra's honesty. It may sound silly and little late in life to debate on virtues of being honest. If you are looking for money, fame & power in life I am sure that your 'honesty' will remain your worst hindrance. That even Mr.Tom, Mr.Dick & Mr Harry would agree. You see in a real world you need to remain manipulative, street smart and never shy away from lying. This mantra if practiced to perfection will reasonably ensure that you are adequately comfortable in spite of recession and inflation notwithstanding.
That said I am really overwhelmed to realise that the 'reality show'"Sach Ka Samna" in one of those TV channels ... pays you quite lavishly for being honest and truthful in front of the camera. Sadly you and I and all those Tom Dick & Harry cannot be a part of this reality show, since this is strictly by invitation and you can't expect an "Aam Admi" to be an invitee to any place other than the "polling Booth" and the "kumb ka Mella".!
Now it is quite amusing to find our politicians going all out to ban the show on moral grounds. It seems the questions & answers put on this show keep reminding these politicians of their own ever growing 'mis-adventures' that they so thrive on and are for 'vote sake' not able to cash it on a 'Reality Show"
An "Aam Admi" if he does not like a show, will simply switch to the next channel...but politicians will never want to do that. Instead they will keep making noise as though trying to wish away their own "Sachai Se AmnaSamna"
Let us understand that TRP is all about viewer's choice..so what's wrong if a channel carries on airing a show ..which is just two episodes old and already creating TRP waves...& what's wrong if some 'rich & famous are willing to make a 'show' of their sleezee......confessions. After all when it comes to 'Money' for some it is never 'enough' to say 'enough' and that's 'moment of truth'.....what say "Rajeev..?
