Stories of Divine intervention A Review

I am not a kind of  bonafide bookworm who would  bury his nose in the book .Perhaps this  was the  reason why I  was putting off reading this book  “Maa Maine Hi Maakhan Khayo”.  Eventually when  I did read it,  It was indeed a "Happy reading"
Miracles are amazing things that happen that we can’t explain. “Maa Maine Hi Maakhan Khayo” is a compilation of such miracles  that are presented to us in the form of short stories. Each one of the seven stories that I read was a testament of Lord Krishna’s miracles. We come across divine interventions in one form or other   in every story . Every story is a  reaffirmation of the  idea that “Faith can move Mountains”  Lord Krishna is one of the most widely worshiped and popular Hindu deities
I like the way the author is able to introduce within the  story a character that acts as a testament to Lord Krishna’s divine intervention . If it was the “small boy”  pillion riding Harley Davidson in the story “Maakhan Chor, it was Dr Balram in the story “Nathu’s Peda Shop" . You will come across incidences of such  divine intervention in each of the seven stories. Each story in itself is quite simple, very relevant to the present day. They all are quite short and none of them feel incomplete or rushed.
Everyone comes across problems in their day to day living but how they get resolved at times becomes a matter of divine intervention  This is yet another book that I enjoyed reading, so will others.
“Maa Maine Hi Maakhan Khayo” is probably the author’s  14th book. All his past creations have been very interesting and absorbing and worth the read. Keep it coming Nurani S  Ravi !!
