Farmers cannot runaway from....

This morning in flat 10 minutes BJP got the  2 contrversal "Farmer bills" passed in the Rajaya Sabha through a sham voice voting amidist the panddemonium created by an  urully opposition .Once again our parliamentary democracy witnessed an udemocratic voting  system being  uleashed  No debate. No diascussions , Bill passed..

The two Farmer bills that got passed today were (1) The Farmers' and Produce Trade and Commerce(Promotion and Facilitation) Bill,2020. (2)Farmers(Empwerment and Protection)Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm services Bill,2020.

The above bills that now become a statutory law will  take away a major revenue stream of the States. Additionally it will in times to come bring in big Corporate Houses spreading their wings into Agricultural products. Further since the govt will let go its control on minimum support Price assured to farmers(MSP), the farmers specially the margainilzed farmers will become victims of giant Corporate Houses  Before this Mansoon session comes to an end  a third farm Bill  'The Essential Commodities (Amendment)bill 2020 , will get  passed and when that happens supply of certain items including cereals, pulses, potatoes, onions, edible oilseeds and oils will no more be covered by Essential Commodities Act.. This will in essence  help encourage hoardings and create artificial scarcity  Also  exporting these items will get  de - controlled.Next time when "ONIONS" desappear from the market don't expect the govt to come to your aid. The  giant corporate Houses with large  warehousing facilities are bound to use this law to peak their profit graphs.

Ambani's Reliance buying  twenty five  thousand crore stake in Future Group is bound to  harvest big time profits out of this . Does it mean Ambani deal was a coincidence or well timed is something best left to reliance  'future' retail business..

Incidentatly the Nation wide Farmers protest and agitations against passing of these bills has now turned out to become another mighty slap on the already 'swollen' faces of the  farmers.

Some sucides have the  tendecy to stay on media  Head lines for months together but sadly that has never been so when  farmers commit sucide which happens almost every other day. Now with this new farm bills enacted, the  farmers sucide will become politicans working capital to grind their politcal axe. All Politicians accross party lines have one thing in common and that  they all  have 'No conscience 'No morality'.

Our PM feels his ' Tweets' and 'Maan Ki Baat' are the 'Mul Mantaras'  that can  help the  "FARMERS" to get out of their death and debt trap, unfortunately the farmers don't think so because they are à¤…नपढ़

Passing of these Farmer Bills in the Parliament today makes one thing clear and that is 'our farmers cannot run away from their "HEART TOUCHING PLIGHT" any time soon.

In conversation with Bapu....

With 'Sare Jahan Se Achcha' and 'Abide with Me'the Soul-stirring martial tunes and solemn drum beats at the majestic Raisina Hills the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony marked the conclusion of the week long ceremonial functions of India celebrating her 62nd year of Republic. As the illumination lit up the edifices of Imperial India..my thought reached out to that day into the history of independence that finally dropped the curtain on a life called "Gandhi"...the man whose experiment with truth may not have jelled with today but his name has truly become the brand that remain most misused & manipulated both in trade & politics. As I key-in these lines I can read out the conversation that would have transpired between the "soul of Nation" (SON) and "Mahatma Gandhi"(Bapu)....Read on what I read..... SON: Bapu it's me,are you sleeping....? BAPU: How can you ask that...don't you know this day in the year 1948..I was gu...

But 'PAPU' Can "Vote"...'Sala'..!

"Sala".. is a generally accepted slang for both 'hum' the "Hindustani" and 'tum' the "Indian". Together this "HUM TUM" make the "Aam Admi"of the world's largest 'democracy'. This is our "INDIA".I agree with the TV ad that almost says "My India Strongest" in spite of the "Everest" of issues that surround her. Normally in this country the fate of the 'ordinary' people ie 'Aam Admi' always remain woefully harassed, pushed and frustrated through the year. However at the close every 5 years this 'Aam Admi' suddenly become extraordinarily powerful and remain wooed by all 'big, small and sundry' political parties of the country. Yes it is time for General Election. In the coming months for the 15th Lok Sabha, 714 million eligible voters would be 'bee lining' to the ballot boxes across 29 states,6 union territories to elect 543 members . 'Jaago-...

My expiriment with "TRUTH"..

It was today but the year was 1981 and the day was probably a Saturday. I was there on the ceremonial stretch of "Raj path".There were about 4 lac people like me "all excited", getting ready for the "action shot" for Richard Atendbrough's film "GANDHI". The scene was Gandhiji's "funeral procession".I was wearing white khadi "Pajama & Kurta" which I bought from Khadi gram udyog at 'Regal building the previous evening. This was the recommended "dress code" for the shoot. Probably I never thought then that I was about to be part of a "live action crowd" of this magnitude that will never again be filmed. Soon the heavy camera's parked on the cranes started rolling. I lost the count of how many times those giant like cameras zoomed in and zoomed out of me. I was simply emotionally charged walking the stretch shouting "Vande Matram","Mahatma Gandhi" "AmarRahe"...
